‘Mad Dog’ Mattis Tells Military To Abandon Obama’s Failed ISIS Strategy and Start ‘Annihilating The Enemy’

Obama was in over his head as president in a variety of ways.

There really isn’t any rational argument to the contrary.

His biggest blunders were definitely on the foreign policy side.

Everywhere you look, he made mistake after mistake.

Most notably, his boneheaded decision to pull out of Iraq too early which led to the rise of ISIS.

Under his watch, ISIS grew and grew while Obama stood around joking about how they were the JV team.

It was really a stunning lack of awareness and leadership.

Gen. Mattis has a better idea.

Let’s do the opposite of what Obama did…

Secretary of Defense James Mattis instructed the U.S. military to abandon Obama administration procedures and start focusing on killing Islamic State fighters instead, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph Dunford told Breaking Defense.

“When Secretary Mattis looked at our anti-ISIS campaign, he concluded that in some instances we were essentially just pushing the enemy from one location to another,” Dunford explained. “He asked me and the military chain-of-command to make a conscious effort not to allow ISIS fighters to just flee from one location to another, but rather to deliberately seek to ‘annihilate’ the enemy,” he continued.

Fine by me.

Man, it doesn’t get any better than Gen. Mattis.

Trump really hit a home run there.
