A nation on the brink of civil war

Larry Klayman seeks ways to battle leftist rage 'peacefully and aggressively'

The shooting this week in Alexandria, Virginia, was a tragedy. 

Republican congressmen, senators, and their staffs were gunned down by a crazed leftist lunatic bent on killing as many of them as he could. Fortunately, no one was killed, but Majority Whip Steve Scalise was critically wounded, most likely never to fully recover. 

But while the attack was wholly unjustified and abhorrent, the rage that engulfed this leftist madman, a supporter of socialist senator and former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, regrettably will not be exclusive to either him or the left.

Indeed, if the drumbeat of verbal attacks, leaks, and otherwise destructive assaults on President Donald J. Trump, his family, those around him, and their supporters do not soon abate, expect right-wing militias and other reactive vigilantes to spring into action, resulting in a full-fledged civil war, with blood flowing in our neighborhoods and streets. 

I do not condone this; I am just predicting what will likely occur.

We will do our best at Freedom Watch to prevent such an explosion and push-back of the enraged right against the out-of-control and vicious left, which has in just the last few years waged deadly attacks against the police, assaulted peaceful participants and attendees at Republican and conservative events on college campuses, conducted mock assassinations, and held up beheaded effigies of our commander in chief on national television and elsewhere, to name just a few provocative outrages.
We live in very dangerous times, and the attempted takedown of conservatives, libertarians, independents, and people of faith by many on the left will undoubtedly cause a violent reaction if it is not stemmed forthwith. 

The persons, groups and entities responsible for this are not exclusive to crazy gunmen like this white socialist Bernie supporter, 

but the blame also squarely lies with the leftist media, epitomized by the granddaddy of these hateful and dishonest cable networks, CNN, joined by MSNBC, and print and Internet publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, HuffPost, the Nation, Mother Jones, the Daily Beast, and scores of others.

Couple that with evil billionaire financiers of violence, such as the self-hating atheist Jew and Nazi collaborator George Soros, who confiscated the property of fellow Jews for his Nazi masters on their way to the gas chambers and ovens during World War II, 

and groups such as Black Lives Matter, the Nation of Islam, the Council for American Islamic Relations, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the People for the American Way, and even to some extent the American Civil Liberties Union, 

all of whom are whipping up this hatred of our president and the rest of us, and you have a nation on the brink of self-extinction.
To add insult to injury, there is former President Barack Obama, the Clintons, and the hordes of leftist judges they appointed to the federal bench, who even in their published decisions are in effect viciously attacking President Trump and those who support him – 

with ad hominem attacks calling us racists, bigots, and suggesting that we are supremacists, if not smearing us with innuendo. 

The nation clearly is spinning out of control toward a civil war between the left and the right!
Given the total breakdown of not just our system of government and the courts to redress corruption and the Orwellian Big Brother state we now live in, 

I am increasingly frustrated by the refusal, and not just failure, of our representatives in Congress and on the bench to tend to much less care about the needs of all Americans, not just leftist Americans. 

We cannot throw in the towel and concede that the country is beyond repair. 

Indeed, as was true of our Founding Fathers in the years, months, days and hours leading up to the Declaration of Independence and our first revolution, resulting in the birth of a new nation, we must soldier on.

So I call on all of my readers and supporters to comment on how best to do this during these again pre-revolutionary times, in the words of Thomas Paine, that "try mens' souls." Let me hear from you so that we may prepare for and wage a second American revolution, peacefully and aggressively, before all is lost.
