Murdered Babies Being Turned Into Jewelry?
May 3, 2017
I realize this sounds like a headline from Nazi Germany in the year 1940, but no. It’s happening right here in the not-so-good ole’ US of A.
“Baby Bee Hummingbirds Jeweller" claims on social media, “We are experts and true original leaders in Embryo Ashes DNA Jewelry. We are working with a number of local and international fertility clinics to raise awareness of this option for families.” The company is offering a 15% discount to those who use the code EMBRYO15 on jewelry "crafted with embryos."
Hello!!?? Did you just read what I read?? Jewelry crafted with embryos? Does this at all remind you of lampshades and soap being made out of the skin and remains of Jews in Nazi Germany?
What are embryo ashes and who are these families? The families are those who employ Invitro Fertilization (IVF) to create more babies than they usually want in order to have enough embryos to have a successful pregnancy.
Of these families, the Baby Bee Hummingbirds company writes, “They are informed, educated, and loving people who have made an educated decision.”
Well, I object! Oh for a thousand tongues to object! Of all the unloving things to do to your child - murdering them and decorating yourself with them has got to be at the top of the list of "Worst Things A Parent Has Ever Done!" Right?
These babies are in a cryo-preserved state, but they are living human beings created in the image of God nonetheless. Once you conceive a child, you don’t have the right to kill it! If the baby's death is premeditated, that is first degree murder.

Moms and Dads, you are responsible for the life you bring into this world. “If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” (I Timothy 5:8). If you have already participated in IVF and have “leftover” children in a perpetual icy prison, you can give them life or give them up for adoption through "snowflake adoption." But destroying the embryos should not be an option, and certainly destroying them and creating jewelry with them is even more sickening!
Just take a look at a few of the comments on this jewelry thread. This is heart wrenching! They are discussing the discount code, how expensive it is to store the babies, and one lady referred to her six IVF babies as her "6 frosties" that she is ready to get rid of because they are still having to pay for storage.
Some even talked about how women are suffering and dealing with heartbreak over this decision of destroying their frozen children.
Well don't destroy them! Rescue them! Does that seem impossible? Let me introduce you to friends of ours and a fine Christian family who have recently made great sacrifices to adopt someone else's frozen IVF baby and have successfully given birth. Meet the Harmon family.
This is Toby and Sisleigh Harmon's family and beautiful baby, Elias. Their baby was conceived and fertilized several years ago and then left frozen by his parents. Toby and his lovely wife Sisleigh, rescued Elias, who was dehumanized in a laboratory freezer, wasting away with his siblings as well as 600,000 more precious souls. They adopted the embryo, had the embryo implanted in Sisleigh's womb, and many doctor's appointments later, gave birth to Elias.
Toby explains that they chose embryo adoption because they wanted to "love our preborn neighbors as ourselves by rescuing those orphans that are most forgotten about in society." He and his wife also hoped that through their embryo adoption, they could "bring awareness to our culture, particularly the Christian community, about the evils of the IVF industry and the plight of these abandoned embryonic humans."
I realize that many well-intentioned Christians have utilized IVF to get pregnant, but we must be honest about the massive number of babies who have died because of the reckless practice of IVF as we know it today. And we must reach out in love to businesses like Baby Bee Hummingbirds and plead with them to stop this barbaric practice of profiting off of the senseless death of innocent babies.
My comments: An ever increasing portion of our Culture is losing their God given Conscience.
