THE FLESH COUNTS FOR NOTHING

Christ Jesus said:

'The Spirit gives LIFE the Flesh Counts for Nothing.

The words I have spoken to you are Spirit

And they are LIFE.

Yet there are some of you who do not Believe.'

For Jesus had known from the beginning

Which of them did not Believe

And who would Betray Him.

He went on to say,

'This is why I told you that No One can come to Me

Unless the Father has Enabled him.'

From this time many of His Disciples turned back

And No Longer followed Him.

John 6:63-66)

We learn for this discourse from Christ Jesus

That what is in the Natural, the Flesh, Counts for Nothing

In the Kingdom of God, which is Entirely Spiritual.

LIFE only exists in the Spirit of God—In the Kingdom of God.

That is why Christ Jesus said:

Seek First the Kingdom of God [Matt. 6:33];

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else;

Seek that which is of the Spirit of God above all else,

Because there is No LIFE in anything else.

The apostle Paul puts it this way:

THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS

Is Faith expressing itself through Love. (Galatians 5:6)

Faith, of which Christ Jesus is the Author and Finisher of [Hebrews 12:2].

And Love which is God, Who is Love [1 John 4:8],

Who is The Spirit [John 4:24]; The LIFE giving Spirit [1 Corinthians 5:45].

The apostle John defines Love this way:

'This is Love: That we walk in Obedience to His Commands [2 John 6];

Which can only be done In and Through the Spirit of God.

Therefore, the Spirit is EVERYTHING while the Flesh is NOTHING.

What is the Only Hope in all that exists?

Christ in us the Hope of Glory [Colossians 1:27].

In this Entire World there is no other Hope.

Who Draws us to Christ Jesus?

God the Father, Who is the Spirit.

Without His Drawing, No One would ever know God.

What is our part? To say Yes to God—To Believe;

To Cling to, to Trust in and Rely upon Him.

And He and His Word are ONE! (John 1:14)
