Every liberal who feels that we should “coexist” and be diplomatic with these terrorist should read what this young girl went through, and the despair she still has yet to face.
According to reports, at least 10 different men repeatedly beat, tortured and raped a 9-year-old girl.
The young girl was impregnated by one of the men as a result of the rapes. The attackers were ISIS militants, a group once referred to by Obama as the ” JV team”. The girl was seen by aid workers in a refugee camp in Iraq after she and hundreds of others were freed after being held captive by the group for more than eight months.
The victim was one of 216 people from the ethnic and religious minority community known as Yazidis released by the Islamic State group.
Those freed tended to be elderly, infirm or young, and many were in poor health, an Iraqi Kurdish commander said. They appeared to have been abused and neglected. Although the captives were freed Monday, they did not reach a Kurdish-controlled region of Iraq until Wednesday.
Aid workers said releasing the 200-strong group of girls and women this week might have been done simply to shame them when they returned to their families.
“Sending back those girls and women is a way of shaming the whole community,” Yousif Daoud, an aid worker, said.
“I don’t know what the future would be for their babies.
“The girls and women don’t want them. They have suffered so much they just want to forget.
“If they are married, their husbands won’t take them back if they are pregnant. And it’s clear that the babies will never be accepted.”
There are fears that some of the pregnant women will attempt to have an abortion, but healthcare provisions are so poor that many will die in the process, aid workers claim.
Abortion may be the only option for the 9-year-old rape victim if she wants to live.
“Even a cesarean section is dangerous,” Yousif Daoud, said of the options for the 9-year-old girl to give birth. “The abuse she has suffered left her mentally and physically traumatized.” Daoud explains that the girl is so weak and frail that giving birth will most likely kill her.
The Islamic State group launched an assault on Iraq’s Yazidi community back in August. The terrorists kidnapped hundreds of Yazidi women and reportedly took them to Syria. A subsequent report by the U.S. State Department said 1,500 to 4,000 women had been abducted and that they were being raped, forced into marriage and tortured.
