Then
the Kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to Ten Virgins
Who
took their Lamps and went to meet The Bridegroom [Christ
Jesus].
Five
of them were FOOLISH—thoughtless, without forethought;
And
Five were WISE—Sensible, Intelligent and Prudent.
For
when the FOOLISH took their Lamps,
They
did not take any [extra] Oil with them;
But
the WISE took flasks of Oil along with them [also] with their Lamps.
While
the Bridegroom lingered and was slow in Coming,
THEY
ALL FELL ASLEEP.
But
at Midnight there was a Shout, BEHOLD, The Bridegroom!
GO
OUT TO MEET HIM!
Then
ALL those Virgins got up and put their Lamps in order.
And
the FOOLISH said to the WISE,
Give
us some of your Oil, for our Lamps are going out.
But
the WISE replied, There will not be enough for us and for you;
God
instead to the Dealers and buy for yourselves.
But
while they were gone away to buy, The Bridegroom Came,
And
those who were PREPARED went in with Him to the Marriage Feast;
AND
THE DOOR WAS SHUT.
Later
the other Virgins also came,
And
said, Lord, Lord, OPEN [THE DOOR] to us!
But
He replied, I solemnly declare to you, I DO NOT KNOW YOU--
I
AM NOT ACQUAINTED WITH YOU.
WATCH
therefore—give strict attention and be cautious and active--
For
you know neither THE DAY nor THE HOUR
When
the Son of Man will Come. (Matthew 25:1-14)
Who
are these Virgins?
Is
this not the Church of God?
For
there are no Virgins before God unless they have been FORGIVEN.
So
here we have Ten Virgins who have been FORGIVEN.
But
Five of them are FOOLISH and Five are WISE.
What
is the difference?
The
difference is that the Five WISE Virgins have enough Oil
To
meet the Bridegroom when He Comes
And
Five FOOLISH Virgins DO NOT.
THEY
ALL FELL ASLEEP!
The
Bridegroom took such a long time in Coming
That
they all grew weary and FELL ASLEEP.
THEN
THE ANNOUNCEMENT COMES!
BEHOLD,
The Bridegroom is here!
And
ALL the Virgins get up and put their Lamps IN ORDER.
But
the FOOLISH Virgins realize at that point
THAT
THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH OIL to meet The Bridegroom.
They
ask the Five WISE Virgins from some of their Oil
But
the WISE Virgins tell them that they cannot
As
there will not be enough for them all.
The
Oil is representative of the Holy Spirit.
Every
Christian MUST OBTAIN THEIR OIL THEMSELVES.
No
one can OBTAIN IT FOR THEM, and it cannot be shared.
And
there is ONLY ONE SOURCE FOR THAT OIL—God Himself--
The
Anointing of The Anointed One [1 John 2:20-27).
It
is obtained by Continual Communion with Christ Jesus
And
OBEDIENCE to Him--
Living
in the Secret Place of the Most High God [Psalm 91].
So
the WISE Virgins have enough Oil, Anointing, to meet The Bridegroom
And
the FOOLISH Virgins DO NOT.
The
WISE Virgins go with the Lord to the Marriage Feast
And
the DOOR IS SHUT.
Meanwhile,
the FOOLISH Virgins run off to buy Oil from the Dealers.
But
they are unsuccessful, because it cannot be obtain on short notice.
They
come to THE DOOR and ask the Lord to open it for them,
But
He tells them that He IS NOT ACQUAINTED WITH THEM--
HE
DOES NOT KNOW THEM.
What
is the lesson the Lord is conveying here?
It
is SIMPLE.
WATCH
therefore—give strict attention and be cautious and active--
For
you know neither THE DAY nor THE HOUR
When
the Son of Man will Come.
One
will be TAKEN and one will be LEFT BEHIND. (Matthew
24:40-44)
Christ
Jesus has made the reality of His Second Coming
PLAIN
to EVERY Christian--BUT WHO BELIEVES HIM?
Here
we are in the Last of the Last Day of Time--
Who
will be READY to meet The Bridegroom, when He Comes?
If
these Parables are indicative, only one-half of the Church will be
ready.
WILL
YOU BE READY?
Today,
the World is raging against God, rushing toward oblivion. (Psalm 2)
This
World in its present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)
America
is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.
Save
yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
As
God has written, so shall it be! Hallelujah! Maranatha!
Father, Your Kingdom
come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
