The
apostle Paul spoke of the apostasy that would enter the church of
God:
The
Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith
And
follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Such
teachings come through hypocritical liars,
Whose
consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. (1 Timothy 3:2)
The
Word of God speaks pointedly and clearly concerning homosexuality:
Flee
from sexual immorality.
All
other sins a man commits are outside his body,
But
he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
Do
you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in
you,
Whom
you have received from God?
You
are not your own; you were bought with a price.
Therefore
honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
Do
not lie with a man as one
lies with a woman; that is detestable. (Leviticus 18:22)
If
a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman,
Both
of the have done what is detestable.
They
must be put to death;
Their
blood will be on their own heads. (Leviticus 20:13)
The
Apostle Paul Makes This Declaration:
The
wrath of God is being revealed from heaven
Against
all the godlessness and wickedness of men
Who
suppress the truth by their wickedness,
Since
what may be known about God is plain to them,
Because
God has made it plain to them.
For
since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—
His
eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen,
Being
understood from what has been made,
So
that men are without excuse.
For
although they knew God,
They
neither glorified him as God, nor gave thanks to him,
But
their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Although
they claimed to be wise,
They
became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God
For
images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and
reptiles.
Therefore
God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts
To
sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
They
exchanged the truth of God for a lie,
And
worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--
Who
is forever praised. Amen.
Because
of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
Even
their women exchanged natural relations, for unnatural ones.
In
the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women
And
were inflamed with lust for one another.
Men
committed indecent acts with other men,
And
received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
(Romans
1:18-27)
In
spite of these clear admonitions from the Word of God
“Churches
who claim Christ”
Believe
that they know better than God what is right and what is wrong;
They
do what they believe is right in their own eyes,
And will suffer the
consequences.
God's
Judgment Of Sodom And Gomorrah
God
made clear His thinking regarding homosexuality at Sodom and
Gomorrah.
The
place was destroyed.
Homosexuality,
like all sin only increases as time goes on,
It never gets better.
Unrepentant
homosexuality, like all sin, demands the judgment of God.
It
is only a matter of time;
However,
God always gives a period of grace
While
he encourages the person to turn away from their sin and to Him.
If
His grace is not accepted, if the person does not turn away from
their sin, Judgment follows.
Homosexuality
is Sin
Homosexuality
is sin among the many sins of man.
However,
it is unique because it is sin against ones own body.
Repentance
is the God given cure for all sin.
When
we turn to God in faith He enables us to turn from our sin and to Him
By
the power of His Holy Spirit living inside of us.
When
churches who claim Christ, sin overtly against God and His Word,
By
doing and accepting that which is clearly against His Word,
They
stand condemned with the rest of the unbelieving world.
Acceptance
of homosexuality by churches that claim Christ,
Is part of the Apostasy/Rebellion spoken of in the
word of God.
This
Apostasy/Rebellion will only increase as we approach
The Time Of The
END.
