In
the midst of the endless opinions expressed today
Socially,
politically, religiously and economically, only one counts.
The
opinion of God Almighty.
His
opinion is clearly stated in His Word.
All
else is often meaningless palaver.
Today,
there is the pretense that the so called “modern” world
Has
gotten beyond God and His Word,
With
all its sophistication, science and technology.
There
is a worry about global warming.
How
ironic, when the God of Creation is about to destroy the world
Because
of it's sin.
The
apostle Paul said:
If
anyone does not love the Lord—a curse be on him.
Come,
O Lord! (1 Corinthians 16:22 NIV)
Christ
Jesus said:
He
who is not with me is against me,
And
he who does not gather with me scatters.
(Luke
11:23)
Today,
those who do not love the Lord Jesus Christ are cursed.
Those
who are against Him are against the only Way, the only Truth
And
the only LIFE; they are lost and without hope.
Including
the most obvious, the following:
-Those
who promote abortion and participate in abortion. They ignore the
fact that God knows each conceived person before they are conceived
and formed in the womb and that this life He has created is precious
to Him.
-Those
who promote homosexuality in the face of God's obvious anatomical
design and the lesson of Sodom and Gomorrah.
-Those
who have driven the teaching about the God of Creation out of the
schools. They are the ones who will be proven ignorant and without
hope.
-Those
who have made Christianity a bad word, calling what is good evil and
what is evil good in defiance of Christ Himself.
-Those
who have an insatiable drug habit in an effort to escape the reality
of their sinfulness and guilt.
-Those
addicted to pornography in defiance of the sacredness of sexuality in
God's eyes.
-Those
who run after their idols of persons and things that have been
elevated to the status of gods in defiance of God who says He alone
is to be worshiped.
-Those
in government who are responsible for the printing of dishonest money
manipulated according to their will in defiance of God who requires
honest money.
-Those
in the government who play god in promising what it cannot not be
delivered; involving themselves in the affairs of other nations while
being derelict at home; Taking over the purview of God. In this
pursuit they have accumulated a debt that can never be repaid. The
nation is now a slave to her lenders according to the Word of God.
-Those
who run after material things (the American Dream) and ignore the God
of Heaven who is the provider. Turning their future into the American
nightmare.
-Those
who everyday drink in perversion on television, movies and magazines.
-Those
who everyday drink in perversion on the Internet.
-Those
who everyday contribute to the increasing violence in the streets.
-Those
who are unfaithful to their spouses, which God hates.
-Those
who make fornication and sexual deviance a way of life.
-The
pluralists, the secularists, the humanists, the atheists, the
agnostics and all those who do not honor God.
The
curse of God is upon all these. They are against God and His Christ,
Jesus.
What
hope is there for such people? Unless they turn to God there is none!
Yet, each one can come to their senses like the Prodigal Son and turn
to God. They can turn from the sin they are caught in, to the LIFE
God offers ever person, as long as it is called today.
Christ
Jesus said:
Let
him who does wrong continue to do wrong;
Let
him who is is vile continue to be vile;
Let
him who does right continue to do right;
And
let him who is holy continue to be holy.
Behold,
I am coming soon!
My
reward is with Me,
And
I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
I
am the alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the
End.
Blessed
are those who wash their robes,
That
they may have the right to the Tree of LIFE
And
may go through the gates into the City.
Outside
are the dogs, those who practice magic arts,
The
sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters
And
everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Revelation 22:11-15)
Each
of us chooses Heaven or hell!
